View Calendar

You can view a standard calendar (like the one you hang on your wall) using the form on the main Events Calendar page. Pick the month and year, and if you'd like to narrow your calendar to a particular city and/or type of event, choose those too, and then click "View."

A calendar will appear showing you the number of events on each day. Numbers labeled "cont" and numbers listed after the main number of events denote that a multiday event spans across that day. (ie, if one event lasts from the 10th to the 12th, and there's a different event also on the 11th, the 10th will say "1 Event", the 11th will say "2 Events/1" and the 12th will say "1 cont."

To view the list of events for a particular day, click the number link. A standard events output screen will appear.

If you're looking at this month's calendar, today is highlighted yellow.

The "By City" and "By Type" search interfaces allow you to:


• Pick a Sonoma County City, then pick an Event Type and see a listing of all matches,
• Pick an Event Type, then pick a Sonoma County City and see a listing of all matches,
• Do a keyword search of the entire Sterba Sonoma County Events Calendar,
• Do a keyword search of a particular City, or
• Do a keyword search of a particular Event Type

At all times, you'll see how many matches exist for a particular section (i.e., how many events are listed under "Comedy") as well as a "NEW" next to sections containing recent additions and a "SOON" next to sections containing events which will occur within the next week.

When you see a keyword box, you can type in any number of keywords to search by (for example, "Music" or "Petaluma" or even "Petaluma and Music" (Under Construction)).

This lets you show all events happening on a certain day, on or after a certain day, or between two dates. (i.e., if you're free all next week, enter the first day and the last day to see all events occuring during that time.)

This shows you all events that are happening on today, on tomorrow, or all events happening in the next two days (today, tomorrow, and the next day), respectively.

These are your quick ways of finding out what's happening now!

This is a browse of all events happening on or after today. If you feel like skimming around to see what's up, and don't particularly care what the events are about or where they're held, this is for you!

This is a browse of all new additions in the past two weeks. It's great to find out what new events have been added to the Sterba Sonoma County Events Calendar database since you were last online.

This provides a form where you can submit your own event. If you have a Sterba Events Calendar password, your submittals will appear in the calendar immediately. If not, there may be a delay of up to 3 days for verification.
