Suave, sleek and elegant, Phil Edwards' command of the Jazz genre is ASTOUNDING! His contemporary presentation, style and mastery of technique set a new standard for the Jazz days of old. This singer for the new millennium hails from St. Louis, MO where music always filled the house. Jazz, R&B, Blues, Rock and Roll, Classical-you name it. All of it combined to create a polished charismatic performer. Phil has appeared on stage as many memorable characters, as Gitlow in Purely Victorious, as Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, as Brook Benton in "Dinah and Friends" and as Mark, a hen pecked husband in the Vendetta Farai production of Soul Mates. Edwards spent the last 20 years in Los Angeles, CA performing in many of the Jazz hot spots and eight years as the front man for the Ikeda Kings Jazz Orchestra, conducted by the renown Bennie Maupin..
