Colman has been playing in local cabarets for years and has a devoted following as a solo guitar/vocal blues act. Ken has been playing clarinet for years in northern California symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles, as well as clarinet and sax in theater pit orchestras and in City Swing, a 40s big band based in San Francisco. The duo brings the clarinet back to jazz where it was once the premier instrument, and Colman's guitar provides a rich, light harmony that blends beautifully with the clarinet's sound. Add Colman's rich baritone vocals, and you have a mellow blend for standard tunes that! range from the obscure "Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams" to the more familiar "Cabaret."
